Title: Project Manager
Educational Requirement:
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Job Duties:
- Design, Improve and update customer-facing applications to create a rich, and innovative user experience.
- Manage the scope and schedule of each project and create a project plan that describes the project scope, schedule and resources needed to complete the project.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Responsible for managing changes to the project plan, as required, and facilitating discussion with the sponsor and the business team to create statements of work (SOW) for the new requirements.
- Monitoring progress, identifying, and addressing any issues or obstacles, and facilitating communication between team members and other teams by creating a productive environment.
- Mentoring team members through agile frameworks and effectively coordinating sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups can help teams work more effectively and deliver high-quality results.
- Facilitating the transition of the application teams from waterfall to Agile. Assists development team with code review, quality assurance and effective collection of requirements.
- Supporting project teams with Scrum artifacts, such as user stories, sprint backlogs, and burn-down charts, ensures that these artifacts are updated regularly and used in an effective manner.
- Responsible for the identification and management of risks associated with the project, including the identification of potential risks and the development of strategies to mitigate those risks, and ensures project compliance with required quality standards by overseeing testing and quality assurance activities.
- Manage product planning sessions, Risk Management Process, Change Management and Communication.
